Job Description

TNI The Network Inc. is looking for an IT Administrator to join our team in Peachland. In this role you will be the first line of contact for all staff requiring IT Support acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff. You will document and prioritize IT support requests through email and phone. Additionally, provide support to the IT department in their roles.

To see if the job is suitable for you, below are some of the responsibilities and accountabilities that we are looking for:

  • Collect and document basic user needs and requirements;
  • Ability to read basic troubleshooting procedures and provide instructions to others, i.e.: password changes, printer set up and replacing parts and equipment;
  • Assist software developers with basic testing and documentation;
  • Maintain inventory list of replacement supplies and equipment, placing orders when required;
  • Suggest areas for improvement along with possible solutions;
  • Actively contribute to knowledge bases when new information is learned;
  • Complete special projects as requested.

Job Requirements

Required skills and experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in an administrative role;
  • Excellent customer service;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills, including technical language;
  • The ability to function independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
